Meaning of the stamping: The tree of life is a revitalizing energy movement, linking the everyday world with the underworld and the sky; the tribe on one side and the world of spirits and ancestors on the other.
When someone dies and his soul undertakes the final journey from this world to the other, he carries the symbols of his fertility and when he arrives in the world of his ancestors, he is sent to throw them all into a tree full of fruits. The waiting relatives need the fruits to ferment an intoxicating drink to celebrate his arrival. If the soul comes with empty hands, there will be no celebration, no feast and life will go on.
