Automobile | Patrol Car | Huichol Art

This scale patrol has been artistically intervened with the ancestral technique of Huichol art, a traditional form of expression native to the Huichol indigenous peoples of Mexico. Every detail of the patrol has been carefully adorned with the characteristic symbols and geometric patterns that represent the Huichol cosmovision, such as the sun, the feathered serpent, and spiritual figures related to nature, life and protection.

The intervention includes the use of brightly colored beads, typical of this tradition, which cover both the bodywork, creating a visual contrast between the modern functionality of the vehicle and the cultural richness of the indigenous designs. The vibrant color palette, which includes shades of blue, not only alludes to the fauna and flora of the Huichol world, but also reinforces the symbolism of protection and harmony with the environment.

The design transforms the patrol into a mobile work of art, which not only stands out for its visual aspect, but also for its profound meaning. This intervention pays homage to the cultural and spiritual heritage of the native peoples, while promoting the preservation and dissemination of their artistic traditions.

This project fuses public safety with cultural identity, turning the patrol car not only into a means of transportation, but also into a symbol of respect and appreciation for Mexico's cultural richness.
