Each of the pieces that a Huichol artisan makes has a very special representation of their roots and customs. The artisans base their work on the belief in their origins, that is, in each of the four elements of creation: earth, water, air and fire. The figures are especially striking, where they reproduce geometric drawings and fantastic figures. Scorpions, iguanas, turtles, deer, jaguars, wolves, cactus, turtles, jícaras or wells and even masks are just some of the forms of these divinities captured in Huichol art.
